I love the fact that Adrian and Alanna finally have their happy ending (as i was rooting for that ending). But quiet upsetting how Michael turned out in this book. I guess it doesn't seems fair for Michael to have that type of ending he had (portrayed being a bad guy), considering how he was on the last two books. I was expecting Chad be the bad guy and Michael helped Adrian saves the day once again, but not Michael being the bad guy all along. Overall I'm torn on how I feel....it's likes a dark shadow has been cast over the entire story. I'm happy about Adrian and Alanna, but at the same time it feels incomplete knowing that Michael did not have the happy ending he deserved as well.
Hi, I am glad that you enjoyed the book and that you liked Adrian and Alanna's happy ending. Now Michael, when I first started to write Three Thousand Miles To You in 2010, Michael was going to be the guy that Alanna chose. But as the story progressed I felt that he wasn't the right choice for Alanna and that he needed to be the bad guy before she could finally let him go. If you think back on book 2, you will find that Alanna was very selfish regarding Michael, she didn't want to let him go and she wasn't going to unless she knew once and for all that he wasn't the good guy that she thought he was. I know that Michael's ending is quite shocking and that it's a situation that you are either going to love or hate, but I feel that it was the best way to end the story. I want to thank you again for taking the time to read my books, I really appreciate it and I look forward to hearing from you again. Deila...
